Cookie jars and canisters can make a great vintage addition to your kitchen. There are no decorating rules when using such items. You can mix and match like colors but different styles for an-out-this-world retro look, or buy a whole set of matching if you are lucky enough to do so.  Here are some of my favorite looks from Etsy.

Perhaps some people would overlook the fact that yesterday's trash could be someone's new and crafty treasure. I just love the thought of skating. I remember back in the 80's you could not get me out of Skateland. We also had an ice skate rink here in Baltimore, but I wasn't very good at it.  Whether you roller skate, ice skate or skate board, put on some wheels and roll.  Not only is it good clean fun but you can skate on these vintage babies for fun and for a real workout!
