I'm catching up with Lori Lee's Twistmo shop on Etsy, which features retro and vintage style creations for your wall. New to the vinyl wall decals is the artsy owl, he comes in several colors (I love him in brown) but really love hiim in the multi colored above. Not only would this look great in a nursury or kids room but I could just love him to pieces in my art studio. A lot of people want the retro mod pop art look . Target or Ikea encourages use of funky pop art furnishings and a few vintage items from Etsy and life was never easier. Industrial Furniture for Shabby, Farm or Mod Decor

I really don't think you can go wrong having a bit of industrial furniture in your home. I for one wouldn't mind having a new piece for the sake of housing favorite collectibles or antiques.  I know some of us worry that something industrial won't "go" with the present decor, but perhaps you may need to break some rules. Sometimes refurbishing something in white paint can really make a huge difference in your decorating. I applied this theory when redoing my living room when I (gasp now) painted the old 1927 dark wooden window frames with flat white paint, and added some shabby white paint to the picture frames throughout the room. I have to say, it looked like a whole new living room. Just goes to show that adding some white accents or antiques in your home may look fabulous!
