I love glove molds. This is a photo from my customer, Tara over at TreasureTrunkDesigns who makes the best jewelry, pendants, and rings from natural stones. She has been working hard getting her Etsy shop up and running and her photos are phenomenal.
She even makes football keyrings from old spoons which I really love and would be perfect for hubby |
She bought two glove molds from my Retro Chalet etsy shop. She bought one medium, as shown here in this mirage of glove molds, and one squatty. So when she sent me photos of how lovely they looked with her jewelry, I decided to try to help with her Etsy shop and put some logos up on some of my sites
Mediums, glazed, $32. Collections of 3 or 4 for less. |
HINT FOR ETSY SELLERS: I am using my own "Marriage" method as I wrote about on Handmadeology (Read Free Article Here with tips on how to do the same) and by doing this I hope to help Tara sell lots of jewelry and she in turn will help me off those glove molds that I have sitting in storage. We are cross promoting for the common goal.
As you can tell I thought her shots were gorgeous enough and only added a small bit of text.
The problem is, I can't choose as I love them both. So please help me choose!

Rules: Make sure to click on the blog poll but leave a comment with your shop name. One random winner gets a small square ad here on this blog for 3 months to help with their Etsy shop. This contest runs til 4/1/2011 so I can get some ads up to help her.
This one has her red cuff bracelet made of stones.
This one features her amazing blue necklace aka Lariat of turquoise which was shrunk down from above. |
I like the blue necklace and the red bracelet. :)
ReplyDeletelol... like Heather, I like them both, but I think the blue one is better. :)

I like the blue one best since the necklace highlights the entire glove mold and not just a portion of it.

I absolutely love your work, however do not like the hand model - find someone with a beautiful hand and well manicured fingers and I would be far more likely to look closer....the modelled hand is inanimate, no warmth or human connection - you want your creations to be worn by humans, don't you?
ReplyDeleteI like the red one, it is more graphic and clean.
