What's this? A new site I love, and I'm here to share with you three reasons why.  I just found the site TGL Direct. They specialize in lots of Antiques and Vintage items.  You can find everything from Fenton Art Glass to Trading Cards and Sports Memorabilia.  Vintage Pottery and Glassware to Boudouir Items.  From Victorian to the 1950's, there's something for everyone.  Let's discuss why I like them.

1. Antiques and Collectibles at Great Prices.

 The difference is, unlike other  sites online, their prices are more than fair.  Most prices have been marked down from book value, and some even have the "Make Offer" sign for the die hard hagglers out there.  Check out this Chamber Pot waiting to be had, which I already thought was a steal at $29.99. Vintage and antique perfume bottles are a lovely little blast from yesterday's past. Collectors love to assemble tiny collections of these great fashion trinkets.  Prices range from fantastic, to the half paycheck.

There are even collector's clubs about perfume bottles.  Collectors should check online before offing an old perfume bottle, even if it isn't fancy it could be valuable. What if you have a bottle cracked but the stopper is in good shape? Often times the glass stoppers are often lost, chipped, or misplaced and sometimes people will buy a less than perfect bottle just to obtain the stopper.

So what is it about empty perfume bottles being so alluring? Perhaps it's the romance of yesteryear, the smell of days gone by. Some still retain a small hint of their former lives. We are taken back to a time of the vintage fashion scene that makes us wonder. Who wore this and when?  If we only knew.

I just can't believe this. This is a must have for vintage perfume bottle collectors. It is truly amazing these lovely items have survived -- an entire collection of  New Old Stock of Antique Perfume Bottles from the 1940's & 50's.  To be exact, these bottles are over 58 years old and "new" as in  never filled perfume bottles from Evyan New York, made in USA over 50 years ago!

I am always amazed at how things can resurface like this. Found by their owner, whose family had a perfumery in New York-New Jersey area, these bottles were acquired untouched, in the original boxes. The good news, is they are now available for sale to the public!  Many people may not have believed this and thought they were reproductions but here is proof positive, just look at the old boxes!
